A UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy is recruiting for a knowledgeable and switched on Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst. They have a busy presence across the Central Belt of Scotland, and require someone who is well placed to travel across the region. Applicants must be fully signed off for all asbestos survey types and analytical duties, as you will be expected to hit the ground running. Our client has a diverse portfolio of client contracts, including commercial, industrial and domestic. For the successful candidate, they are offering attractive salaries and benefits packages, including great overtime opportunities.

Experience / Qualifications:
- Proven track record working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
- Must hold the BOHS P402, P403 and P404 or RSPH equivalents
- Good understanding of UKAS, HSG 264 and HSG 248 guidelines
- Able to confidently articulate technical matters to clients
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Proficient using IT software
The Role:
- Conducting management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys
- Re-inspection surveys
- Collecting ACM samples from site
- Carrying out 4 stage clearances
- Full air monitoring, including: background, re-occupation, personal, smoke and leak
- Ensuring removals projects are completed within agreed industry compliance guidelines
- Collating findings to produce detailed technical reports
- Creating schematic drawings
- Providing regular updates and technical reports to clients
