They are ideally seeking someone in the North East of England, to cover northern commercial, industrial and healthcare client contracts. It would be advantageous to hold a background in electrical / mechanical engineering, but this is not essential. You would suit this role if you have a hardworking and professional attitude, with a keen eye for detail and well-rounded technical knowledge. We can also consider candidates from further afield, provided you are happy to travel as required. Experience / Qualifications: * Hands-on experience as a Water Treatment Equipment Engineer * Excellent working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines * It would be advantageous to hold qualifications in: plumbing and / or electrics * Strong eye for detail * Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills * Flexible attitude The Role: * Installing and commissioning on various water treatment systems and components, including: reverse osmosis, water softeners, UV filtration and deionisation units * Performing routine servicing and maintenance on existing systems * Highlighting any faults and repairing as neccessary * Upselling replacements / company services * Ordering materials / parts as required * Producing quotations * Completing regular service reports * Providing technical advice and project updates to clients Alternative job titles: Water Equipment Engineer, Equipment Engineer, Water Treatment Service Engineer, Water Service Engineer, Water Treatment Engineer.
