We are recruiting on behalf of a leading name within the Clean Air / Critical Ventilation industry, who have a busy portfolio of medical and pharmaceutical client contracts. Due to recent company growth, they require an experienced Validation Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have an excellent track record within the industry and will have a flexible and hardworking attitude. We are seeking someone with a strong mechanical skillset, who will be able to hit the ground running. Salaries on offer are excellent and come alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
Ideally, you will be located in: Luton, Dunstable, Leighton Buzzard, Hitchin, Biggleswade, Sandy, Bedford, Cambridge, Bishop’s Stortford, Harlow, Watford, Aylesbury, Bletchley, Milton Keynes, Buckingham, Brackley, Towcester, Banbury, Oxford, Abingdon, Didcot, Wantage, Reading, Thatcham, Bracknell, Maidenhead, Slough, Basingstoke.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Experience working as a Validation Engineer within the Clean Air / Critical Ventilation industry
- Must have strong industry technical knowledge, including the HTM 0301 compliance guidelines
- It would be advantageous to hold Electrical Engineering experience / qualifications such as the 18th Edition
- Holding the BOHS P601 would be beneficial but not essential
- Flexible to travel where required
- Strong literacy, numeracy and IT skill level
- Hardworking attitude
The Role:
- Completing the validation, installation and commissioning of clean / critical air ventilation systems, including: fume cupboards, microbiological safety cabinets and laminar flow cupboards
- Installations of isolators and down flows
- Working within medical and pharmaceutical environments
- HEPA filter and DOP testing
- Servicing and testing of existing safety cabinets
- Decommissioning of equipment
- Particle counting
- Completing PPM and reactive duties
- Keeping accurate records of works undertaken
- Representing the company in a professional manner
