Job Title: LEV Engineer Location: Rochdale, Greater Manchester Salary/Benefits: £27k – £45k + Training & Benefits We are recruiting for a hardworking LEV Engineer, who has a wealth of experience within the industry, and is looking to join a successful and reputable organisation. The company is a leader within the Dust & Fume industry, and can offer excellent routes of training for dedicated engineers. Ideally, you will have good access to the M60 and M62 in order to easily access client sites across the North of England. Due to the nature of the contracts, our client can consider applicants in locations outside of the list below. They are offering competitive salaries and packages. Our client can consider candidates from: Rochdale, Hyde, Stockport, Oldham, Heywood, Bury, Bolton, Blackburn, Burnley, Preston, Chorley, Wigan, Skelmersdale, Warrington, Widnes, Runcorn, Prescot, St Helens, Knutsford, Eccles, Formby, Southport, Bootle, Liverpool, Birkenhead, Ellesmere Port, Chester, Halifax, Huddersfield, Brighouse, Mirfield, Wakefield, Leeds, Bradford, Castleford. Experience / Qualifications: – You must have hands-on experience working as an LEV Engineer for a Dust & Fume specialist – Will be qualified with the BOHS P601 qualification as a minimum – Holding the P602, P603 & P604 would be beneficial, but not essential – It is preferred that applicants will hold an in-date CSCS card, and IPAF – Flexible to travel as the company needs – IT proficient – Able to write detailed written reports The Role: – Conducting the Installation, Commissioning and Testing of LEV and ventilation systems – Testing and inspections on Fume Cupboards and Spray Booths – Routine air monitoring and emissions testing – Working on projects of varying sizes and across a mix of Commercial, Industrial, Local Authority and Manufacturing client sites – Troubleshooting issues on site as well as over the phone with clients – Ordering parts for repairs – Working to HSG 258 and HSG 268 guidelines – Liaising with clients to arrange site access – Writing bespoke service reports Alternative Job titles: LEV Test Engineer, Ventilation Engineer, P601 Engineer, LEV Installation Engineer, Service Engineer.
