Job Title: LEV Engineer Location: Sunderland, Tyne and Wear. Salary / Benefits £25k – £45k + Training + Benefits We are working closely with a North East based provider of LEV services who are now recruiting for a BOHS P601 qualified LEV Engineer to join their team of longstanding engineers. The successful candidate will be carrying out various LEV duties such as Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) testing, installing & commissioning new systems in line with relevant guidelines and producing detailed reports based on site findings. You will be working on Commercial, Industrial, and Manufacturing sites. For the successful candidate, our client can offer regional work to ensure a healthy work / life balance, and the opportunity for career progression. Consideration will be given to candidates from: Peterlee, Durham, Hartlepool, Redcar, Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Middlesbrough, Barnard Castle, Darlington, Stockton-on-Tees, Consett, Gateshead, South Shields, Tynemouth, Hexham, Ashington, Morpeth, Newcastle. Experience & Qualifications: " Holding the BOHS P601 is essential to the role. " Will have extensive experience working as an LEV Engineer for a reputable provider of LEV services. " Able to demonstrate excellent practical knowledge of HSG 258 / COSHH guidelines. " Excellent IT skills. " Organising workload in line with client and company needs. " Good communication skills. The Role: " Attending a mixed portfolio of sites to carry out Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) testing. " Installing and commissioning new LEV systems in line with industry and manufacturing guidelines. " Working on clients existing systems to carry out air flow checks. " Using information from site to produce detailed technical reports, submitting to clients in a timely manner. " Working in line with HSG 258 / COSHH guidelines.
