We are recruiting in the Midlands for a qualified Legionella Risk Assessor / Consultant, to cover a range of commercial, public sector and local authority client sites. You will be joining a leading name within the Legionella industry, who have a presence nationwide and an excellent reputation. Ideally, candidates will be open to travel as company requirements change.
The role will involve conducting Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot and cold and process water systems, so existing experience is required. Salaries and benefits are competitive, and include: overtime, training and pension scheme.
You will be travelling across: Tamworth, Nuneaton, Hinckley, Leicester, Rugby, Coventry, Solihull, Birmingham, West Bromwich, Walsall, Cannock, Wolverhampton, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Redditch, Droitwich Spa, Stafford, Penkridge, Uttoxeter, Burton upon Trent, Derby, Nottingham, Loughborough, Stoke-on-Trent, Worcester, Stratford-upon-Avon, Tewkesbury, Cheltenham, Ledbury.
Responsibilities- Undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot and cold, cooling tower and closed systems
- Producing detailed risk assessment reports
- Advising clients on found risks, recommended works and required ongoing compliance
- Ad-hoc water sampling and temperature monitoring
- Adhering to set deadlines and personal targets
- Supporting and training new risk assessors
- Representing the company in a professional manner
- Proven experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor / Consultant
- Will hold the City and Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing
- Fully conversant in ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
- It would be advantageous to have hands-on plumbing / water hygiene experience
- Strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills
- Professional and hardworking attitude
