A new and exciting opportunity has become available within an established privately owned water treatment/legionella company in the West Midlands region. We are currently recruiting a flexible and dedicated Legionella Risk Assessor. The ideal candidate will hold an industry-recognised legionella qualification and have hands-on experience conducting risk assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems. The candidate must be willing to travel, primarily covering the Midlands region.
Applications are welcomed from areas including Kidderminster, Bromsgrove, Solihull, Coventry, Royal Leamington Spa, Rugby, Daventry, Lutterworth, Nuneaton, Birmingham, Northampton, Wellingborough, Kettering, Leicester, Tamworth, Cannock, Wolverhampton, and surrounding areas.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in the legionella industry.
- Ideally holds City and Guilds in Legionella Risk Assessment or WMSoc qualification.
- Well-versed in ACOP L8 and relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
The Role:
- Undertaking Legionella risk assessments across various sites, ensuring compliance with ACOP L8 guidelines.
- Providing clients with recommendations, quotations, and plans for routine control measures and remedial works.
- Preparing schematic drawings, final reports, and documentation for clients.
- Attending client meetings as required.
