We are seeking a hardworking Legionella Risk Assessor in the Midlands, to cover a range of new commercial, local authority and public sector contracts. You will be joining a leading Legionella / Water Hygiene outfit, who has a national presence and a busy portfolio. Due to the growing nature of the company, there may be a requirement for travel to client sites as well as great training potential. Experience / Qualifications:
- Must have strong experience undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot & cold systems
- Will be qualified with the City & Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing
- Able to work in accordance with ACOP L8 & HSG 274 guidelines
- It would be beneficial to have hands on plumbing / water hygiene experience
- Will have experience working across a range of client sites
- IT literate
- Good written ability
- Flexible to travel when required
The Role:
- You will be conducting Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACOP L8 standards
- Predominantly working on domestic hot & cold systems
- Writing detailed reports to identify risks and recommendations for remedial duties
- Meeting with clients on site to discuss findings and answer technical questions
- Ad-hoc water sampling and temperature monitoring
- Representing the company in a professional manner
- Working to agreed timescales
