Salary/Benefits: £25k - £38k + Training & Benefits

We are seeking a hardworking Legionella Risk Assessor in the Midlands, to cover a range of new commercial, local authority and public sector contracts. You will be joining a leading Legionella / Water Hygiene outfit, who has a national presence and a busy portfolio. Due to the growing nature of the company, there may be a requirement for travel to client sites as well as great training potential. They are offering great salaries and benefits for the successful candidate.

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Must have strong experience undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot & cold systems
  • Will be qualified with the City & Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing
  • Able to work in accordance with ACOP L8 & HSG 274 guidelines
  • It would be beneficial to have hands on plumbing / water hygiene experience
  • Will have experience working across a range of client sites
  • IT literate
  • Good written ability
  • Flexible to travel when required

The Role:

  • You will be conducting Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACOP L8 standards
  • Predominantly working on domestic hot & cold systems
  • Writing detailed reports to identify risks and recommendations for remedial duties
  • Meeting with clients on site to discuss findings and answer technical questions
  • Ad-hoc water sampling and temperature monitoring
  • Representing the company in a professional manner
  • Working to agreed timescales
