Our client is a leading name within the Legionella / Water Hygiene industry, with a growing presence across the UK, in addition to a diverse client portfolio. They are seeking a qualified and knowledgeable Legionella Remedial Plumber, with a diverse skillset and strong technical knowledge. You must be confident operating independently on site, producing regular technical reports and must be able to effectively communicate with clients. The successful candidate can expect competitive salaries and benefits, including: company vehicle, overtime earning opportunities, pension scheme and annual leave allowance.
Ideally, you will be located around the following locations: Solihull, Coventry, Birmingham, Royal Leamington Spa, Rugby, Daventry, Hinckley, Nuneaton, Leicester, Coalville, Loughborough, Redditch, Stratford-upon-Avon, Bromsgrove, Droitwich Spa, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Cannock, Lichfield, Tamworth, Nottingham, Derby, Swadlincote, Stafford, Rugeley.
Experience / Qualifications
- Experience working as a Remedial Plumber within a Legionella / Water Hygiene company
- Must be qualified with the NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing, and will ideally hold the NVQ Level 3
- Will ideally hold the G3 Unvented ticket
- Good working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
- Hardworking attitude
- Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
The Role
- Conducting PPM and reactive remedial plumbing works across a range of client sites
- Deadleg removals
- TMV servicing and replacements
- Pipework adjustments and re-routes
- Servicing and replacing vented and unvented cylinders
- Tank refurbishments and replacements
- Cleans and disinfections
- Replacing expansion vessels and flexihoses
- Completing regular service reports
- Providing technical advice to clients
