Our client has recently won new work across the Midlands region, and they are looking for a multi-skilled Legionella Remedial Engineer to service new client contracts. Duties will include installations and system modifications in line with ACOP L8 and HSG guidelines. You will be joining a medium-sized Water Hygiene / Legionella outfit, who have a growing client base. They are offering competitive salaries and benefits in addition to good further training routes and development plans.
You will be travelling across: Leicester, Coalville, Cannock, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Lichfield, Tamworth, Stafford, Stoke-on-Trent, Derby, Burton upon Trent, Beeston, Nottingham, Loughborough, Hinckley, Nuneaton, Coventry, Rugby, Daventry, Royal Leamington Spa, Solihull, Northampton, Redditch, Droitwich Spa, Kidderminster, Stourbridge, Worcester, Telford.
Experience / Qualifications:
– Must have strong experience working as a Legionella Remedial Engineer
– Ideally will have worked within a Water Hygiene / Legionella company
– Working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
– It is essential to hold plumbing qualifications, including: NVQ Level 1 & 2 and the G3 Unvented ticket
– Good client-facing skills
– Professional manner
– Strong literacy and IT skills
The Role:
– Undertaking a range of PPM and reactive plumbing duties across commercial, public sector and local authority client sites
– Deadleg removals
– POU heater installations
– Servicing of unvented cylinders
– Tank installations and refurbishments
– RPZ valve testing
– Modifications and repairs on pipework
– Ad-hoc water sampling and temperature monitoring
– Occasional cleans & disinfections works
– Updating site logbooks
– Adhering to agreed deadlines
