Job Title: LEV Testing Engineer Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire Salary/Benefits: £30k - £50k + Training & Benefits A leading name within the LEV / Ventilation industry is seeking a P601 qualified LEV Testing Engineer in the North of England. They are ideally seeking someone who can hit the ground running, with robust knowledge of COSHH and HSG 258 guidelines. Our client has a presence nationwide, and will require engineers to be open-minded and flexible to travel in line with client needs. Due to the nature of their contracts, they can consider candidates from across the region and beyond. For the successful engineer, they can offer fantastic further training, in addition to attractive salaries and packages. Consideration will be given to candidates from: Leeds, Castleford, Wakefield, Normanton, Pontefract, Garforth, Selby, Bradford, Wetherby, York, Tadcaster, Harrogate, Knaresborough, Pudsey, Dewsbury, Batley, Morley, Brighouse, Halifax, Huddersfield, Barnsley, Sheffield, Doncaster, Goole, Rotherham, Manchester, Rochdale, Oldham, Bury, Stockport, Altrincham. Experience / Qualifications: * Will hold the BOHS P601 as a minimum * Hands-on experience working as a LEV Testing Engineer * Strong technical knowledge, including: HSG 258 guidelines * Experience working within Manufacturing and Industrial premises * Flexible to travel in line with company needs * Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills The Role: * Conducting inspections and testing on LEV, Ventilation and Dust Extractor systems * Servicing on Dust Extractor systems * Emissions testing * DOP and HEPA filter testing * Remedial works, including filter, fan and belt replacements * Assessing overall system performance and highlighting any required repairs * Providing technical support to clients * Updating clients on project progress * Collating findings to complete detailed technical reports * Maintaining high standards of work * Representing the company in a professional manner Alternative Job titles: LEV Engineer, LEV Service Engineer, Dust / Fume Engineer, Ventilation Engineer, LEV Inspector, Local Exhaust Ventilation Technician.
