We are recruiting a knowledgeable HVAC Commissioning Engineer with a proven track record in the healthcare, commercial, and pharmaceutical sectors. The role will involve water and air balancing across these premises and offers a chance to further develop technical expertise.

Consideration will be given to candidates from the following locations: Belfast, Antrim, Larne, Ballymena, Ballyclare, Carrickfergus, Crumlin, Bangor, Carryduff, Lisburn, Dunmurry, Banbridge, Lurgan, Portadown, Armagh, Newry, Cookstown, Omagh, Strabane, Derry, Londonderry, Kilrea, Coleraine, Portstewart, Enniskillen, Irvinestown, Magherafelt.

Experience / Qualifications

  • Strong experience working as a HVAC Commissioning Engineer
  • Experience working across healthcare and pharmaceutical client sites
  • Ideally hold industry-relevant training / qualifications, certified by CIBSE standards
  • Excellent technical knowledge, including CIBSE and BSRIA guidelines
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • IT literate
  • Flexible to travel in line with company requirements

The Role

  • Perform water and air balancing on HVAC systems across a range of healthcare and pharmaceutical premises
  • Assess airflow, static pressure, and water flow measurements and performance
  • Identify performance issues and provide technical recommendations
  • Interpret technical drawings
  • Calibrate equipment
  • Meet with clients on site to discuss technical findings and project updates
  • Work closely with other engineers to ensure high standards of completion
  • Produce bespoke technical reports
  • Maintain high standards of service
  • Travel as required
