Job Title: Water Treatment Equipment Engineer
Location: Sunderland, Tyne and Wear
Salary/Benefits: 30k - 45k + Training & Benefits
We are recruiting for a Water Treatment Equipment Engineer, to cover nationwide commercial, pharmaceutical and industrial contracts. Ideally candidates will hold an electrical / mechanical background and must be well-versed in industry technical guidelines. You will be joining a respected and industry-leading name within the Water Treatment industry, who have a busy and growing client base. Experience / Qualifications:
- Experience working as a Water Treatment Equipment Engineer
- Ideally will hold electrical / mechanical training / qualifications
- Good understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
- Adaptable to client travel needs
- Good communication skills
- Strong literacy and numeracy skill level
The Role:
- Attending client sites to conduct installations, servicing and repairs on water treatment equipment, including: ROs, water softeners, UV filtration and demineralisation units
- Decommissioning equipment / systems
- Diagnosing faults and making recommendations for repairs / replacements
- Calibrating equipment
- Quoting for works
- Creating RAMS
- Producing regular technical reports
- Working across a range of healthcare, commercial, industrial and manufacturing premises
