Job Title: Health and Safety / Fire Risk Consultant Location: Harlow, Essex Salary/Benefits: £30k – £55k + Training & Benefits We are recruiting for a knowledgeable Health and Safety / Fire Risk Consultant in the South East of England. You will be working within a leading Health and Safety consultancy, with a strong reputation and professional workforce. They have a growing portfolio of clients from Commercial and Industrial contracts to Local Authority sites. The ideal candidate will have a professional manner and a keen interest within the industry, and will hold relevant industry qualifications. They are offering excellent salaries and packages and training for candidates who would like to round out their knowledge. Ideally, you will be located in / around: Harlow, Brentwood, Ilford, Enfield, Basildon, Chelmsford, Bishop's Stortford, Braintree, St Albans, Harrow, Wembley, Watford, Slough, Southall, Richmond, Bracknell, Woking, Epsom, Sutton, Croydon, Bromley, Orpington, Dartford, Gravesend, Grays, Erith, Dagenham, Sidcup, Sevenoaks. Experience / Qualifications: – Must have a successful track record working as a Health and Safety / Fire Risk Consultant – Will hold relevant Health & Safety / Fire Risk qualifications (i.e. NEBOSH General) – Must be qualified with the Level 4 in Fire Risk Assessing – It would be beneficial to have experience working on high-rise properties – Ideally will be qualified with the CMIOSH or GradIOSH – Excellent level of industry technical knowledge – Proactive in keeping up-to-date with industry changes and updates – Strong written and IT proficiency – Meticulous and will have an eye for detail The Role: – You will be travelling to a varied portfolio of client sites to undertake Health & Safety and Fire Risk Assessments – Writing bespoke reports for clients, including findings and any recommendations to implement – Discussing the findings directly with clients, to ensure comprehension and to answer any technical queries that may arise – Undertaking quality checks on health and safety and fire risk reports to maintain high levels of service – Conducting health & safety training to clients and ensuring they remain compliant and updated with any regulation changes – Training and supporting new members of staff – Travelling as per company requirements – Ensuring to work to or exceed targets and deadlines – Liaising with clients in order to gain access to sites Future Select are recruiting in the Health & Safety/Fire Safety and Compliance sectors; we work with the best clients & candidates and supply the majority of permanent jobs in the market.
