Job Title: Health and Safety / Fire Risk Consultant Location: Harlow, Essex Salary/Benefits: £30k – £55k + Training & Benefits We are recruiting for a knowledgeable Health and Safety / Fire Risk Consultant in the South East of England. You will be working within a leading Health and Safety consultancy, with a strong reputation and professional workforce. They have a growing portfolio of clients from Commercial and Industrial contracts to Local Authority sites. The ideal candidate will have a professional manner and a keen interest within the industry, and will hold relevant industry qualifications. Ideally, you will be located in / around: Harlow, Brentwood, Ilford, Enfield, Basildon, Chelmsford, Bishop's Stortford, Braintree, St Albans, Harrow, Wembley, Watford, Slough, Southall, Richmond, Bracknell, Woking, Epsom, Sutton, Croydon, Bromley, Orpington, Dartford, Gravesend, Grays, Erith, Dagenham, Sidcup, Sevenoaks. Experience / Qualifications: – Must have a successful track record working as a Health and Safety / Fire Risk Consultant – Will hold relevant Health & Safety / Fire Risk qualifications (i.e. NEBOSH General) – Must be qualified with the Level 4 in Fire Risk Assessing – It would be beneficial to have experience working on high-rise properties – Ideally will be qualified with the CMIOSH or GradIOSH – Excellent level of industry technical knowledge – Proactive in keeping up-to-date with industry changes and updates – Strong written and IT proficiency – Meticulous and will have an eye for detail The Role: – You will be travelling to a varied portfolio of client sites to undertake Health & Safety and Fire Risk Assessments – Writing bespoke reports for clients, including findings and any recommendations to implement – Discussing the findings directly with clients, to ensure comprehension and to answer any technical queries that may arise – Undertaking quality checks on health and safety and fire risk reports to maintain high levels of service – Conducting health & safety training to clients and ensuring they remain compliant and updated with any regulation changes – Training and supporting new members of staff – Travelling as per company requirements – Ensuring to work to or exceed targets and deadlines – Liaising with clients in order to gain access to sites Future Select are recruiting in the Health & Safety/Fire Safety and Compliance sectors; we work with the best clients & candidates and supply the majority of permanent jobs in the market.
