Salary/Benefits: £26k - £45k + Training & Benefits
Our client has recently won new commercial and domestic contracts in the South East of England. They are seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, who can hit the ground running. Due to the nature of the contracts, we can also accept applications from candidates who hold Analytical experience only, as our client can provide full training into Surveying. In addition, the company is able to offer great progression into other areas of their multi-disciplined outfit. The successful candidate can expect competitive salaries and benefits packages.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Harlow, Bishop’s Stortford, Sawbridgeworth, Chelmsford, Epping, Broxbourne, Chigwell, Enfield, Romford, Hornchurch, Billericay, Welwyn Garden City, Buntingford, Braintree, Basildon, Potters Bar, Hatfield, St Albans, Watford, Stevenage, Hitchin, Biggleswade, Royston, Luton, Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Strong experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst or Asbestos Analyst
- Will hold the BOHS P402, P403 and P404 (or P403 and P404 for analysts) – or RSPH equivalents
- Fully conversant in HSG 264, HSG 248 and UKAS guidelines
- Must be signed off to work on a mixed portfolio of sites
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Comfortable using IT software for reports
The Role:
- Undertaking management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys across commercial, domestic and industrial sites
- Safely collecting ACM samples from site
- Producing bespoke technical reports
- Completing 4 stage clearances
- Carrying out reassurance, background, leak, personal and smoke air testing
- Working across a variety of asbestos removals projects
- Providing technical advice and updates to clients
- Maintaining high levels of customer service
- Supporting new and training members of the team
