They are seeking an ambitious Fire Risk Assessor in the North East area, ideally qualified or in the process of gaining certifications. They are offering fantastic training for the successful candidate, with this in mind, they are able to accept applications from candidates with varying levels of experience. You will be joining a well-established team with a great reputation. They are offering a company vehicle, bonus schemes as well as excellent salaries and packages. Ideally you will be based in or a commutable distance from: Sunderland, Washington, Seaham, Houghton le Spring, Murton, Hartlepool, Spennymooor, Durham, Consett, Chester-le-Street, Stanley, Prudhoe, Blaydon, Bishop Auckland, Middlesborough, Ponteland, Cramlington, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Gateshead, Hebburn, South Shields, North Shields, Whitley Bay, Cramlington, Blyth. Experience / Qualifications: – You must be working towards or will already hold the NEBOSH Fire Certificate (or equivalent) – Will have worked as a Fire Risk Assessor / Consultant, ideally within a Health & Safety / Fire Safety outfit – Excellent level of industry knowledge and actively keeping updated with changing guidelines – It would be beneficial to have experience as a Fire Risk Assessment Validator, but not essential – Strong written ability and able to comfortably use IT applications The Role: – You will be conducting type 1 & 3 Fire Risk Assessments on a mixed portfolio of Client sites (including Commercial, Local Authority and Domestic) – Producing bespoke reports for Clients, advising on identified risks and recommendations and including detailed drawn site plans – Completing inspections on Fire Doors – Representing the company in a professional manner whilst on Client sites – Ensuring to adhere to industry recognised guidelines – Providing detailed advice to Clients and answering any technical queries – Travelling as per company requirements Alternative Job titles: Fire Risk Consultant, Health & Safety / Fire Consultant, Health & Safety Assessor.
