We are currently seeking a dedicated and switched-on Lead Fire Damper based in the North West. Candidates will need extensive experience working as a Fire Damper Engineer, with active listening skills and willingness to develop. As you will launch into action undertaking inspections, service reports and installing fire dampers with leading a team and training them up to a high standard. Experience / Qualifications:
– Hands on experience working as a Fire Damper Engineer
– Obtained the CSCS card and BESA Fire Damper Testing & Installation certificate would be beneficial
– Time management skills
– Strong technical knowledge of DW144, BS9999, TR19 and HSE guidelines
– Adept in IT, literacy and numeracy
– Travel in line with company requirements
– Advantageous to be qualified with Fire Damper tickets or industry related training
The Role:
– Evaluate the safety and functionality of fire dampers and associated systems
– Pinpoint any flaws and advise on appropriate repairs
– Fitting of access panels
– Conducting minor remedial repairs to existing systems and dampers
– Working on commercial, industrial, public, food & beverage and manufacturing sites
– Representing the company professionally
– Keep pre and post photos for detailed and accurate service reports
– Complete ductwork surveys, evaluating the safety and functionality
