We are seeking a dynamic Fire Damper Engineer in the Midlands region, who can undertake thorough Fire Damper inspections and testing in accordance with BS9999 guidelines. You will be joining a leading name within the Air Hygiene / Fire Control industry, who have a growing presence in areas of the UK. Candidates will need to be flexible to travel in line with client requirements and ensure deadlines are met or exceeded. Experience / Qualifications:
- Must have experience working as a Fire Damper Engineer
- Excellent technical knowledge of BS9999 and TR19 guidelines
- Hardworking attitude
- Ideally will hold confined spaces training and a valid CSCS card
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Comfortable using a PDA to complete reports
The Role:
- Thorough inspections and testing of fire dampers in line with BS999 guidelines
- Completing minor remedial duties and repairs to fire dampers
- Undertaking grease extraction cleans
- Inspecting of ductwork systems
- Identifying system performance issues and making recommendations for repair
- Producing regular service reports
- You will be attending a mix of commercial, manufacturing, industrial and food & beverage client sites
- Travelling in line with company requirements
- Maintaining strong working relationships with clients
