Our client is a leading name within the Ventilation industry, with a busy Fire Damper / Air Hygiene division. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a hardworking Fire Damper Engineer in the North West of England, who can confidently complete inspections and testing on fire dampers and TR19 cleaning duties. Applicants must be able to travel in line with company requirements and must have proven technical knowledge. The successful applicant can expect attractive salaries and benefits, including: overtime, pension scheme and excellent cross-training opportunities.

Experience / Qualifications:
– Experienced in conducting thorough testing on fire dampers and ductwork servicing / cleans
– Working knowledge of BS9999 and TR19 guidelines
– Able to work across a mixed portfolio of commercial, industrial and manufacturing client sites
– Good written ability
– Comfortable using IT software to complete reports
– Hardworking attitude
The Role:
– Attending client sites to conduct inspections and testing of Fire Dampers
– Kitchen extract, canopy and ductwork cleans
– Fitting of access panels
– Inspecting ductwork and identifying compliance / performance issues
– Completing service reports
– Taking pre and post-clean photographs for reports
– Travelling as required by clients
– Ensuring to abide by safety and compliance guidelines
