We are working closely with a multi-disciplined provider of Environmental Services who due to consistent growth are now seeking to take on a Dual Skilled Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst. The successful candidate will hold the BOHS P402, P403, and P404 qualification and will have extensive experience working on Industrial, Commercial and Domestic sites, carrying out the full range of surveying and analytical duties in line with HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines. For the successful candidate, our client can offer opportunities for overtime, generous holiday allowance, paid door to door travel, bonuses for staying away in line with company and client needs and the opportunity for further training and career progression.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Warrington, Chester, Macclesfield, Chesterfield, Matlock, Wrexham, Newcastle under Lyme, Stoke-on-Trent, Derby, Stafford, Beeston, Nottingham.
Experience & Qualifications:
” Holding BOHS P402, P403, & P404 or RSPH qualifications are essential to the role.
” Experience working for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy would be beneficial to the role.
” Excellent knowledge of HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines.
” Able to use TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
” Good communication and time management skills.
The Role:
” Working in line with HSG 264 guidelines to carry out management, refurbishment, demolition, and re-inspection surveys.
” Carrying out 4 stage clearances, smoke, leak, background, reassurance, and personal air testing in line with HSG 248 guidelines.
” Sampling suspected ACMs on site, ensuring to bag and label correctly prior to sending for analysis.
” Using industry relevant systems to produce detailed reports.
” Assisting in obtaining and maintaining UKAS accreditation.
” Liaising with clients, providing excellent consultancy advice and support.
