Salary/Benefits: £28k - £40k + Training & Benefits

Our client is seeking a qualified and hardworking Legionella Risk Assessor to cover a variety of client sites across the South East region. You will be conducting risk assessments predominantly on domestic hot and cold water systems, in order to confirm compliance or highlight any safety concerns. You will be joining a well-known name within the compliance industry, who offer the full range of water hygiene / legionella services, so there are excellent cross-training opportunities. The successful applicant can expect competitive base salary, in addition to usual benefits, including good overtime opportunities and a company vehicle.

Locations of work include: Dartford, Gravesend, Erith, Sidcup, Chatham, Bromley, Sevenoaks, Mitcham, Orpington, Bexley, Croydon, Grays, Tilbury, Hornchurch, Romford, Ilford, Barking, Enfield, Epping, Billericay, Basildon, Wickford, South Benfleet, Canvey Island, Southend-on-Sea, Hockley, South Woodham Ferrers, Chelmsford, Maldon.

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Successful track record working as a Legionella Risk Assessor
  • Will hold the City and Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing
  • Fully conversant in ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
  • It would be beneficial to have experience with process water systems
  • Proficient in using IT software
  • Good literacy and numeracy skill level

The Role:

  • Undertaking legionella risk assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems
  • Producing detailed reports to outline any found risks and to make tailored technical recommendations
  • Advising clients on required compliance and remedial action
  • Producing site-specific schematic drawings
  • Working across a range of client sites, including: commercial, public sector, manufacturing and domestic
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients, answering technical queries and providing ongoing support
  • Travelling in line with company requirements
  • Ensuring to maintain personal technical knowledge
