National asbestos consultancy currently recruiting for a hard-working and technical surveyor / consultant to work on a portfolio of commercial and industrial contracts across Essex / Hertfordshire area.

The right candidate will be flexible and adaptable; able to carry out the full range of asbestos surveys and provide technical advice to clients.

Consideration will be given to candidates based in Essex and the surrounding location e. g.

Bishop's Stortford, Harlow, Sawbridgeworth, Stevenage, Welwyn Garden City, Hertford, Ware, Cheshunt, Chelmsford, Braintree, Maldon, Brentwood, Wickford, Rayleigh, Basildon, Romford, Hornchurch, Stanford-le-Hope, Canvey Island, Rainham and the surrounding area.

Requirements

  • BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent.
  • Experience working as an asbestos surveyor / consultant.
  • Confident in producing technical survey reports.
  • Able to build strong business / client relationships.
  • Full UK driving license.

Duties

  • Undertaking Management, Refurbishment & Demolition surveys to commercial and industrial sites.
  • Bulk sampling of suspects ACMs (asbestos containing materials)
  • Confident compiling reports using handheld PDAs.
  • Able to uphold the companies values and delivering high quality asbestos surveys to clients.
  • Ensure work in carried out promptly and to contract deadlines.
