Our client is a leading Asbestos company, who are seeking an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to cover recently won contracts in the Home Counties and South East. The ideal candidate will have an excellent professional reputation and robust industry knowledge, which they are able to apply to each project they will service. The company holds a diverse client base and are able to support excellent further training for hardworking employees. The successful applicant can expect excellent salaries and benefits.
You will be travelling across: Bicester, Brackley, Buckingham, Bletchley, Leighton Buzzard, Luton, Banbury, Bedford, Witney, Kidlington, Oxford, Abingdon, Didcot, Wantage, Swindon, Chipping Norton, Watford, Reading, Slough, Bracknell, Wembley, Southall, Hounslow, Camberley, Woking, Basingstoke, Aldershot, Farnham, Guildford, Kingston upon Thames, Epsom.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Must be qualified with the BOHS P402, P403 and P404 as a minimum
- Proven history working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst for a UKAS accredited firm
- Fully conversant in UKAS, HSG 264 and 248 guidelines
- Good written ability
- Able to confidently use company software and applications
- Professional attitude
The Role:
- Undertaking the full range of management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys
- Writing bespoke survey reports with accompanying floor plans and drawings
- Collecting ACM samples from site to be analysed
- Conducting 4 Stage Clearances as well as leak, personal, background and re-occupation air monitoring
- Being responsible for maintaining compliance standards across removals projects
- Wearing the correct PPE at all times when attending sites
- Maintaining excellent working relationships with clients
