We are recruiting for a qualified Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst in the South East of England. You will be conducting the full range of asbestos surveys across a variety of commercial, industrial and domestic premises, in addition to full site analytical duties. It would be beneficial to have good access to the Home Counties as our client has a strong presence in this region. Applicants must be able to hit the ground running, and will be able to demonstrate strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience. Our client is able to offer excellent base salaries, in addition to a company vehicle, overtime opportunities and extensive further training.
You will be travelling across: Luton, St Albans, Dunstable, Leighton Buzzard, Stevenage, Hitchin, Bishopβs Stortford, Welwyn Garden City, Harlow, Potters Bar, Enfield, Watford, Chesham, High Wycombe, Beasonsfield, Aylesbury, Tring, Milton Keynes, Harrow, Wembley, Slough, Thame, Bicester, Buckingham, Bletchley, Bedford, Oxford.
Experience / Qualifications:
* Must hold the BOHS P402, P403 and P404 (or RSPH equivalents)
* Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst within a UKAS accredited company
* Robust industry technical knowledge, including: HSG 264 and HSG 248 guidelines
* Flexible to travel in line with company requirements
* Good literacy and numeracy skill level
* Comfortable using IT software
* Professional manner
The Role:
* Undertaking management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys across various properties
* Conducting re-inspection surveys
* Collecting asbestos samples from site
* Carrying out 4 stage clearances
* Compiling findings to create bespoke technical reports
* Various air monitoring duties, including: leak, smoke, background, personal and reassurance
* Working across asbestos removal projects of varying size
* Ensuring works are completed in line with safety guidelines
* Wearing correct PPE whilst on site
* Providing detailed technical advice to clients
