Location: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk

Salary/Benefits: £25k - £42k + Training & Benefits

Our client has recently won contracts covering East Anglia and the South East. They are seeking a knowledgeable Asbestos Surveyor to undertake the full range of surveys across domestic and local authority sites. The company has an excellent reputation and can offer comprehensive further training opportunities to hardworking candidates. You will be required to travel across: Bury St Edmunds, Stowmarket, Diss, Ipswich, Felixstowe, Colchester, Sudbury, Braintree, Saffron Walden, Cambridge, Newmarket, Thetford, Ely, Norwich, Lowestoft, Great Yarmouth, Wroxham, Fakenham, Kings Lynn, Clacton-on-Sea, Mildenhill, Sandringham, Watton.

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Must have experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor for a UKAS accredited firm
  • Will hold the BOHS P402 qualification (or RSPH equivalent)
  • Conversant in UKAS and HSG 264 guidelines
  • Good written ability
  • IT literate

The Role:

  • Undertaking thorough Asbestos surveys across a range of domestic and local authority client sites
  • Writing comprehensive survey reports to record findings and recommendations
  • Safely collecting ACM samples from site
  • Meeting with clients on site to discuss requirements
  • Representing the company in a professional manner
  • Travelling in line with company requirements
