Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor Location: Dudley, West Midlands Salary/Benefits: £25k – £42k + Training & Benefits A well-established Asbestos outfit is seeking a hardworking Asbestos Surveyor in the midlands, to undertake the full range of asbestos surveys whilst maintaining high levels of customer service and professionalism. Our client can also accept applications from candidates who hold site Analytical experience in addition to surveying. The role involves servicing client sites across: Dudley, Wolverhampton, Walsall, West Bromwich, Brierly Hill, Halesowen, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Bromsgrove, Redditch, Solihull, Marston Green, Penkridge, Lichfield, Tamworth, Coventry, Rugby, Hinckley, Nuneaton, Royal Leamington Spa, Leicester, Coalville, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Burton upon Trent, Stafford, Stoke-on-Trent. Experience / Qualifications: – Will be qualified with the BOHS P402 qualification (or RSPH equivalent) – Must have proven experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor for a UKAS accredited outfit – It would be beneficial to also hold the BOHS P403 & P404 qualifications – Well-versed in UKAS and HSG 264 guidelines – Good literacy level – Able to use industry software to complete reports – Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable speaking directly with clients The Role: – You will be completing detailed Management, Refurbishment and Demolition asbestos surveys – Collecting samples from site and safely bagging and transporting to the laboratory for analysis – Writing thorough survey reports, including floorplans – Wearing correct PPE when attending client sites – Meeting with clients to discuss survey outcomes and actionable items – Making sure to provide a high level of customer service at all times – Supporting the training of new members of the team Alternative job titles: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, Asbestos Consultant, Environmental Surveyor.
