Our client is a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy, with a strong presence in the Midlands. Due to recently winning new contracts, they are seeking a qualified Asbestos Site Analyst to join their growing team. Applicants must be competent in all aspects of air monitoring and analytical duties and will have strong experience within the industry. You will be predominantly working across a range of commercial and public sector client sites. They are offering competitive salaries and benefits to the successful candidate.
You will be travelling across: Solihull, Redditch, Coventry, Royal Leamington Spa, Rugby, Daventry, Bromsgrove, Droitwich Spa, Halesowen, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Dudley, Cannock, Penkridge, Stafford, Lichfield, Tamworth, Burton upon Trent, Coalville, Leicester, Worcester, Bridgnorth, Stoke-on-Trent, Derby, Nottingham, Long Easton, Melton Mowbray, Loughborough.
Experience / Qualifications:
– Proven experience working as an Asbestos Site Analyst, within a UKAS accredited company
– It is essential to hold the BOHS P403 & P404 as a minimum (or RSPH equivalent)
– Fully conversant in UKAS and HSG 248 guidelines
– Good literacy and IT skills
– Confident in discussing technical matters directly with clients
– Flexible to travel in line with company requirements
The Role:
– Conducting 4 Stage Clearances
– Carrying out smoke, leak, personal, reassurance and background air monitoring
– Working across a range of asbestos removals projects
– Safely collecting ACM samples from site
– Wearing correct PPE at all times
– Ensuring asbestos removal operatives are working to safety and compliance guidelines
– Producing regular reports
– Providing updates and technical advice to clients
– Working to personal targets
