Our client is a UKAS accredited Asbestos outfit, who have a busy client portfolio in the South East of England. They are seeking a qualified Asbestos Site Analyst to travel across commercial, domestic and public sector sites in and around the M25. Applicants must have strong organisation skills in order to manage their own workload on a daily basis and must have robust technical knowledge. Salaries and benefits are competitive and include: overtime opportunities, training and pension scheme.
You will be travelling around: Enfield, Harlow, Potters Bar, Watford, Hatfield, St Albans, Luton, Welwyn Garden City, Harrow, Wembley, Southall, Slough, Twickenham, Kingston upon Thames, Epsom, Sutton, Mitcham, Croydon, Woking, Bromley, Sidcup, Orpington, Erith, Dartford, Sevenoaks, Romford, Barking, Ilford, Grays, Tilbury, Billericay.
Experience / Qualifications:
– Must hold the BOHS P403 & P404 qualifications (or RSPH equivalent)
– Strong experience working as an Asbestos Site Analyst within a UKAS accredited company
– Fully versed in HSG 248 and UKAS guidelines
– Good verbal and written communication skills
– Able to use IT software, such as: TEAMS and Microsoft Office
– Confident working independently on sites
The Role:
– Undertaking the full range of Asbestos Analytical duties
– 4 stage clearances
– Personal, leak, smoke, re-occupation and background air monitoring
– Collecting ACM samples from site
– Working across a varied portfolio of asbestos removals projects
– Adhering to safety guidelines and ensuring projects remain compliant
– Liaising with subcontractors and removal operatives
– Completing regular reports
