Our client is a well-known Asbestos Removal Contractor in the South East of England. Candidates must have experience with the safe abatement of ACM's. You will be a key part of the company's portfolio of removals projects, from site set up to completion of works. The company provides high quality Asbestos Removal Services to a diverse portfolio of clients. The successful candidate must share the same high standards of work. Our client is offering a competitive day rate and great opportunities for further training.
You will be travelling to: Maidstone, East Malling, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Uckfield, Crowborough, Sevenoaks, Dartford, Oxted, East Grinstead, Chatham, Sheerness, Minster on Sea, Sittingbourne, Isle of Sheppey, Canterbury, Ashford, Folkestone, Hythe, Herne Bay, Whitstable, Deal, Broadstairs, Ramsgate, Margate, Orpington, Gravesend, Dartford.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Must have experience working as an Asbestos Removal Operative
- Will hold the Asbestos Removal Operative Certificate, and a valid CSCS card
- It would be beneficial to hold a towing license and ADR, but it is not essential
- Strong industry knowledge and understanding of HSE guidelines
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Hardworking attitude
The Role:
- You will be completing the safe and efficient removal of Asbestos materials across a range of client sites
- Working across a range of client sites, including: domestic, commercial and local authority
- Ensuring to wear the correct PPE at all times and working to health & safety guidelines
- Adhering to risk assessments and site-specific RAMS
- Maintaining equipment and tools and decontaminating after use
- Erecting safety barriers and enclosures around buildings and areas of concern
- Reporting directly to the Asbestos Supervisor
- Travelling as required
