A UKAS accredited company is searching for a resilient, self-motivated Asbestos Analyst who is based in and around Essex. Applicants must hold the BOHS P403 and P404, and have experience working on a mixed-portfolio of commercial, local authority and domestic sites. Experience / Qualifications:

  • Previous / current experience in a UKAS accredited asbestos company/industry, working as an Asbestos Surveyor
  • Qualified with BOHS P403 and P404 or S301 and / or RSPH equivalent
  • Comfortable using industry specific software and PDAs
  • Sound understanding of Health & Safety laws and HSG 248 guidelines
  • Good reputation of providing air monitoring and fibre sampling services

The Role:

  • Travelling to a range of client sites
  • Create reports based on findings and site visits
  • Perform background, reassurance and personal air monitoring
  • Working on site audits on domestic, commercial and industrial sites
  • Conduct 4 stage clearances
  • Friendly demeanour and able to build and maintain good relationships with clients
