Our client is a growing and successful Fire Safety / Ventilation specialist, who have a new requirement for a Fire Stopping Engineer. They are seeking someone with proven hands-on experience, in addition to robust industry technical knowledge. Our client can be open-minded about the applicant’s location, as you will be expected to travel in accordance with changing company needs. The ideal candidate will have a hardworking and self-sufficient attitude, who will be able to manage their own workload efficiently. The Role

  • Attend client sites to install fire stopping systems, including mastic, batt, fire-resistant sealants and firestop blocks
  • Install fire curtains
  • Carry out compartmentation surveys
  • Analyse the performance of existing installations and highlight any non-conformities or faults
  • Make appropriate recommendations for repair or replacement
  • Produce detailed technical reports
  • Work from schematic drawings
  • Adhere to strict safety and compliance guidelines
  • Foster strong relationships with clients
