We are recruiting in the North West of England for a multi-skilled engineer, ideally able to conduct a range of Water Hygiene and Remedial duties.
Our client is a well-known name within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry, with a nationwide presence and growing client base.
Duties would include: deadleg removals, TMV replacements, cleans / disinfections, pipework adjustments and routine sampling / monitoring.

Ideally, we are seeking someone around the following locations: Wigan, Warrington, St Helens, Prescot, Runcorn, Chester, Ellesmere Port, Knutsford, Altrincham, Liverpool, Birkenhead, Manchester, Stockport, Oldham, Rochdale, Bury, Bolton, Chorley, Blackburn, Burnley, Preston, Skelmersdale, Southport, Formby, Crosby, Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, Halifax.
Experience / Qualifications
- Experience working as a Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer within a well-established outfit
- Will hold the NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing as a minimum
- Ideally will be qualified with the G3 Unvented ticket
- Proven industry technical knowledge, including HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines
- Strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills
- Flexible to travel in line with company needs
The Role
- Cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks
- TMV servicing and installations
- Calorifier replacements
- Tap replacements
- Modifying and re-routing pipework
- Showerhead descales
- Swapping out expansion vessels
- Water sampling and temperature monitoring
- Basic flushing on little used outlets
- Updating logbooks
- Identifying required remedial works
