Job Title: Remedial / Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Watford, Bedfordshire
Salary/Benefits: Β£28k β Β£40k + Training & Benefits
Our client is a multi-faceted Compliance specialist, who has a successful Legionella / Water Hygiene division. They are looking for a qualified and experienced Remedial / Water Hygiene Engineer, who has a diverse skillset and adaptable nature. You will be conducting a mix of pre-planned and reactive ACOP L8 compliance duties, ensuring client sites remain safe and functional. Our client has a nationwide presence, covering a range of commercial, industrial and public sector contracts. Experience / Qualifications:
- Will hold the NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing
- Ideally will be qualified with the G3 Unvented ticket
- Experience working as a Remedial / Water Hygiene Engineer
- Strong technical knowledge, including: ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
- Flexible to travel in line with company needs
- Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
The Role:
- Deadleg removals
- TMV maintenance and replacements
- Flexi hose changes
- Installing cold water storage tanks
- Refurbishments on existing tanks
- Servicing and replacing cylinders
- Showerhead descales
- Calorifier inspections
- Chlorinations
- Fault-finding and making appropriate technical recommendations
