Asbestos Site Analyst – Walsall

Due to consistent growth of the business, this prominent and well established client based asbestos and environmental consultancy with a large presence in the Southern region is actively seeking the services of a tenacious versatile and committed Asbestos Site Analyst based in and around the Walsall area and will consider applications from Solihull, West Bromwich, Tamworth, Halesowen and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience

• Holding the P403 and P404 asbestos certificate or the equivalent RSPH qualification is imperative.
• Must have extensive demonstrable experience in air‑monitoring and within the asbestos sector.
• Will be conversant with the Health & Safety procedures with regards to asbestos.
• Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
• Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• We are also interested in anyone with p401/p402/p403/p404 or s301 CCP.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking asbestos smoke, background, leak, reassurance, visual, 4‑stage clearances and re‑occupation and personal air testing on various properties.
• Overseeing asbestos contractors on site and ensuring that they adhere to Health and Safety procedures pertaining to asbestos.
• Liaising with clients on a regular basis – maintaining and building good rapport with the clients.
• Preparing and writing comprehensive reports as required.
• Overall, the successful candidate will be an all‑rounder, flexible, have good work ethos and at the same time have the ability to carry out the work effectively and within timeline.
