We are working closely with an industry leading, North East based Health and Safety provider, who are looking to take on an established and hard working ISO Consultant.
Our client is a fast‑growing company with a diverse portfolio of clients, due to this the successful candidate must be able to hit the ground running and carry out ISO managing and auditing confidently and independently.
You will have a keen eye for detail and will carry out in‑depth risk assessments and audits, providing advice and management plans to ensure clients are in compliance.

Experience & Qualifications
- Proven track record in carrying out ISO management and auditing.
- Extensive technical knowledge of ISO standards, ensuring to routinely read up on latest guidelines.
- Will ideally hold a degree in relation to the industry e. g. Environmental, Quality Assurance, Business and Health & Safety.
- Will hold industry relevant tickets such as NEBOSH & CMIOSH.
- Excellent IT skills.
- Confident working in a client facing role, excellent communication skills via phone, email, and face to face.
- Happy and able to travel in line with company and client needs.
- Will ideally be Lead or Internal Auditor certificate for ISO 27001 and ISO 9001.
The Role
- Providing excellent levels of support to various long‑term clients, ensuring they are compliant with ISO standards, including ISO 9001 & ISO 27001.
- Working closely with clients to create efficient management plans, ensuring they are implemented in a timely manner.
- Undertaking thorough risk assessments and audits, identifying any discrepancies and creating plans in a timely manner to rectify findings.
- Attending meetings with clients, discussing any issues found prior to any external audits and providing support in preparing them for audits.
- Providing clients with training on ISO standards and processes.
- Communicating effectively with clients, ensuring to answer all their technical questions and queries in a timely manner.
- Taking personal responsibility for maintaining knowledge on industry / ISO standard changes.
