Asbestos Surveyor – Sunderland, Tyne and Wear.
Salary / Benefits: £24k – £36k + Training + Benefits
Experience & Qualifications:
- BOHS P402 (or RSPH equivalent) – essential qualification
- Extensive hands‑on experience with a reputable UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy
- In‑depth knowledge of HSG 264 guidelines
- Comfortable using TEAMS / TRACKER systems
- Ability to work to strict deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Carry out management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys
- Conduct re‑inspection surveys after work completion
- Ensure all work adheres to HSG 264 guidelines
- Sample suspected ACMs, bag, label and send for analysis
- Use TEAMS / TRACKER systems to produce detailed reports
- Liaise with clients and provide excellent consultancy advice
Additional Notes: Training into further PO Cert modules, cross training into other environmental sectors, generous holiday allowance and company pension scheme offered.
