An exciting opportunity has arisen for a high calibre Water Treatment Engineer/Plumber to join an expanding water treatment company. The company is offering the successful candidate the opportunity to undertake a varied role on large commercial and industrial sites based in and around the Stockport area. Applications from Hyde, Ashton under Lyne, Altrincham, Stretford and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Requirements

• Good educational, technical and plumbing background.
• Relevant qualifications in plumbing – C&G Level 2 or 3.
• Well versed with the water treatment/water hygiene industry legislation – L8.
• Punctual, reliable and organised.
• Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
• Varied experience working as a plumber on commercial and industrial properties.
• Excellent communication, client‑facing, organisational and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out plumbing work on commercial and industrial properties.
• Replacing tanks and converting mains.
• Carrying out cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems and cooling towers.
• Carrying out temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analysing water systems.
• Building and maintaining a good working rapport with clients.
• Collating and providing service reports and maintaining the standards according to the regulations – Health and Safety.
