We are working closely with an industry recognised name in the South East, who specialise in providing asbestos management services to Commercial, Domestic, and Industrial clients. They are now seeking to take on an Asbestos Surveyor to cover contracts in and around the Essex region. You will be collaborating with their longstanding team of surveyors and ensuring to uphold their reputation, providing high quality service to a mixed range of clients.
For the successful candidate, our client can provide opportunities for training, excellent pension scheme, and generous holiday allowance.
Experience & Qualifications
- At a minimum will hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent qualification.
- Strong background working as a surveyor for a reputable Asbestos Consultancy.
- Extensive knowledge of HSG 264 guidelines.
- IT Literate, able to use TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
- Excellent communication skills will always be professional.
The Role
- Carrying out management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys on Commercial, Domestic, and Industrial properties.
- Carrying out sampling of materials that are suspected to have asbestos in them.
- Correctly bagging and labelling materials with suspected asbestos, prior to sending to the laboratory for analysis.
- Carrying out work in line with HSG 264 guidelines.
- Producing comprehensive reports on site using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
- Undertaking re-inspection surveys upon completion of work.
