Our client is a leading name within the asbestos industry and known for delivering a high standard of asbestos services to a diverse client base.

They are now looking to recruit an experienced, versatile and hardworking Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to work on various contracts in and around the Southampton area.

The successful candidate will hold the P402/3/4 certificates and will be experienced in providing asbestos surveying and analytical duties to a varied site base.

Consideration will be given to applications from Winchester, Fareham, Andover, Salisbury and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Must possess the P402, P403, P404 asbestos certificates or the equivalent RSPH qualifications.
  • Experience working in a surveyor/analyst role and within the asbestos industry.
  • Experience completing asbestos surveys on domestic, industrial and commercial sites.
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.
  • A good working knowledge of asbestos Health & Safety procedures.

Duties within the role

  • Carrying out asbestos 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing on a wide range of properties.
  • Undertake Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on properties including domestic, commercial and industrial.
  • Monitoring contractors on site ensuring that they comply with the asbestos Health and Safety procedures.
  • Carrying out internal audits of site staff.
  • Producing comprehensive asbestos reports.
  • Maintaining a professional working relationship with clients.

Overall, the postholder will be a hardworking individual who demonstrates an excellent work ethic and an adaptable approach to their work.
