Fire Risk Assessor – Redhill

Job Description

We are actively seeking a tenacious, self‑motivated and multi‑skilled Fire Risk Assessor based in the Redhill area, with applications also considered from Reigate, Leatherhead, Crawley, Woking and surrounding areas.

• Hold the NEBOSH Fire Certificate as a minimum, or NEBOSH Fire Conversion – Technician status with recognized bodies. IFSM/IFPO/IFE would be preferred.
• Hold a P402 and any other qualifications relating to Asbestos or Legionella.
• In‑depth knowledge and experience of undertaking fire risk assessments.
• Proven track record working within this role and in other sectors, with a strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures.
• Strong educational, technical and consultancy background.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Key Role Responsibilities

• Undertake fire risk assessments in a variety of commercial, industrial and residential buildings.
• Produce fire plan drawings, organise fire drills, lead fire warden duties, and oversee the use of extinguishers.
• Deliver real fire training, briefings and training courses, including presentations.
• Develop a client base and manage client relationships.
• Handle issues effectively and appropriately.

The successful candidate will be versatile, confident, methodical and flexible, able to demonstrate competency in fire risk assessment and work independently.
