We are a UKAS accredited asbestos and environmental consultancy that offers a wide range of services across the UK. An opportunity is available for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst based in and around the Plymouth area. Applications from Looe, Tavistock, Ivybridge and surrounding areas will be considered.
Qualifications & Experience
- P402, P403 and P404 or equivalent RSPH qualification
- Previous experience as a surveyor/analyst in the asbestos industry
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Fully conversant with asbestos health & safety procedures
Responsibilities
- Carry out asbestos 4‑stage clearances – smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re‑occupation and personal air testing
- Conduct management, refurbishment and demolition surveys on a range of properties, including commercial and industrial sites
- Monitor contractors on site to ensure they carry out work effectively and in accordance with relevant health & safety procedures
- Produce accurate and comprehensive asbestos reports
- Liaise with clients on a regular basis to maintain good working relationships
