Our client is a UKAS accredited consultancy who provide a wide array of asbestos and environmental services to clients nationwide. Due to current business needs they are looking to employ an experienced, competent Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to work on commercial and industrial contracts in and around the Oxford area. The ideal applicant will hold the P402/3/4 certificates and will be experienced in carrying out both analytical and surveying duties. Applications from Reading, Bicester, Aylesbury and the surrounding areas will be considered.
Qualifications & Experience
- The applicant must have attained the P402, P403 and P404 or the equivalent RSPH qualification.
- Previous experience working in this role β asbestos surveying and air-testing within the asbestos industry.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office package.
- Will be fully conversant with the asbestos Health and Safety procedures.
- We are also interested in anyone with P401/P402/P403/P404 or S301 CCP.
Key Role
- Carrying out asbestos 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing.
- Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various properties including commercial and industrial.
- Overseeing contractors on site ensuring they carry out the work in accordance with asbestos Health & Safety procedures.
- Producing comprehensive asbestos reports.
- Liaising with clients on a regular basis.
