Our client is seeking a multi-skilled Water Hygiene Remedial Plumber to cover a wide variety of client sites. The ideal candidate will have a robust skillset and will be able to adapt to changing client requirements in order to provide a thorough service to a growing client base. It would be advantageous to be located near to the M62 and/or M6 for easier travel across the region. We are seeking someone with a hardworking attitude, who has a passion for delivering a high standard of work. Salaries on offer are competitive, and benefits include: overtime, company vehicle, annual leave and pension scheme.
You will be travelling across: Rochdale, Oldham, Bury, Heywood, Manchester, Stockport, Glossop, Altrincham, Bolton, Haslingden, Burnley, Accrington, Blackburn, Leigh, Westhoughton, Warrington, Wilmslow, St Helens, Prescot, Widnes, Runcorn, Frodsham, Chorley, Preston, Ormskirk, Southport, Formby, Liverpool, Birkenhead, Bradford, Leeds, Halifax, Huddersfield, Brighouse.
Experience / Qualifications- Track record working as a Water Hygiene Remedial Engineer
- Must hold the NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and G3 Unvented ticket
- It would be advantageous to hold the NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing, but this is not essential
- Good knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
- Able to complete PPM and reactive works
- Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
- Deadleg removals
- TMV servicing, replacements and installations
- CWST refurbishments, replacements and installations
- Pipework adjustments and modifications
- POU water heater servicing and installations
- Unvented cylinder servicing and installations
- Fault-finding on site and making appropriate recommendations
- Completing regular service reports
- Working to set deadlines and project scopes
