Legionella Risk Assessor – Norwich

Our client is a well-established name within the water treatment industry offering the complete range of water treatment/water hygiene and legionella services to clients nationwide. Due to recent expansion they are now looking to employ a competent and experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to work on a wide variety of contracts in and around the Norwich area. Applications will be considered from Dereham, Attleborough, Aylsham, Great Yarmouth and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

• The successful candidate must have attended an approved Risk Assessment course, ideally City & Guilds, or have had internal training courses.
• Experience as a legionella risk assessor within the water treatment/water hygiene arena.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft office package.
• Extensive experience of carrying out risk assessments on cooling towers.

Role:

• Carrying out Legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 risk assessments.
• Producing schematic drawings and final documents.
• Providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measures through to quotations, and carrying out such works based on the risk assessment.
• Undertaking monthly temperature testing and water sampling.
• Surveys of water systems and supplies as per ACOP L8.
• Writing up reports and attending meetings with clients to discuss findings of reports if required.
