Our client, a well‑established water hygiene company with a large presence nationwide, is urgently looking to employ an experienced Water Treatment Engineer to cover contracts in and around the Tyne and Wear area. Undertaking daily duties such as cleaning/servicing of TMVs, dealing with softeners and dosing units and conducting routine sampling and analysis of water systems. Applications from Newcastle upon Tyne, Gateshead, Durham, Sunderland and the surrounding counties will be considered.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience working as a water treatment engineer
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient with Microsoft Office package
- A good working knowledge of the water treatment industry
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine sampling and analysis of water systems
- Deal with softeners and dosing units
- Cleaning/servicing of TMVs, showerheads
- Servicing of hot and cold‑water systems, some routine cleaning and disinfecting work
- Chemical tank cleans, steam boilers, cooling towers
- Maintain a professional working relationship with clients
