Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst in Manchester

Job Description

Our client is known for providing a range of high‑quality asbestos services to a mixed portfolio of clients throughout the UK. They are recruiting an experienced, versatile and skilled Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst based in and around the Manchester area. The successful postholder will hold the P402/3/4 certificates and have experience in both analytical and surveying duties. Applications from Blackburn, Lancaster, Oldham, Huddersfield and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience

• Attainment of the P402, P403 and P404 or the equivalent RSPH qualification.
• Previous experience working in asbestos surveying and air‑testing within the asbestos industry.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office package.
• Full familiarity with asbestos health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out asbestos 4‑stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re‑occupation and personal air testing.
• Managing refurbishment/demolition surveys on various properties, including commercial and industrial sites.
• Overseeing contractors on site to ensure they carry out the work in accordance with asbestos health & safety procedures.
• Producing comprehensive asbestos reports.Liaising with clients on a regular basis.
