Our client is a notable asbestos consultancy, who provides a wide range of professional asbestos and environmental services to high-profile clients across the UK. They are actively seeking a successful, high calibre, and commercially focused Asbestos Bid Manager based in and around the Manchester area. Ideally, they are looking for an individual with extensive experience working as an asbestos bid manager; overseeing a team of bid writers, working on PQQ’s, ITT’s and Tender returns. Applications will be considered from Oldham, Bolton, Stockport, and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Significant experience in bid management, sales, business development, commercial, project and risk management.
  • A good working knowledge of the commercial and other sectors.
  • Proficient in using the Microsoft Package.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out complex management and R&D surveys.
  • Producing detailed reports.
  • Ensuring that the Bids team carry out the work effectively.
  • Managing the Bid qualification process effectively.
  • Managing the bid inputs i.e. from stakeholders – sales, marketing, finance, technical teams, and legal.
  • Completing written proposals.
  • Arranging post bid reviews and feedback with clients/customers.
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring that all information is consistent and up to date.
