Our client is an established and national clean air company, who delivers a range of services, repairs, and validations to pharmaceutical and healthcare contacts across the UK. They are currently recruiting for an experienced LEV Engineer based in and around the Maidstone area. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in undertaking the testing, installation, and maintenance of Local Exhaust Ventilation systems to a varied site base. Applications from Kent, Ashford, Dartford, and surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • The applicant must hold the minimum of the P601 certificate.
  • Have hands-on experience undertaking the testing, installation, and maintenance of L.E.V systems.
  • Experience in working on class 1, class 2 and class 3 fume cupboards.
  • Experience carrying out clean room validations would be beneficial.
  • Proven track record of producing technical service reports.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Role:

  • The work will involve undertaking local exhaust ventilation (LEV) testing, validations, and maintenance on a varied site base.
  • Testing emissions, reviewing and approving assessments.
  • Collating and producing technical reports.
  • Providing a consultancy service to clients, advising on technical reports and further services.
  • Undertaking fume cupboard examinations.
  • Carrying out validation of clean rooms, laboratories, and contaminated suites.
  • Undertaking testing of microbiological safety, laminar flow cabinets, and downflow booths.
  • Visiting sites designated by the client and dealing with issues effectively.
  • Carrying out testing on pharmaceutical isolators and robotic enclosures.
  • Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the Health & Safety procedures and legislation.
  • Presentations to staff, company, and contractors regarding occupational hygiene.
  • Building and maintaining a good rapport with clients.
