Our client, who is well respected within the water treatment / legionella industry, delivers the full range of legionella duties to a mixed portfolio of clients within the Basildon area. They are currently looking for a hard‑working and experienced Legionella Risk Assessor, undertaking risk assessments in line with ACOP L8, and who will hold excellent water treatment / legionella knowledge. Consideration will be given to candidates from Grays, Rainham, Rayleigh, Romford, Southend‑on‑Sea, and the surrounding area.
Qualifications and Experience
- Hold the City and Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment qualification or WMS equivalent.
- Have a track record of working as a legionella risk assessor within the water hygiene/treatment industry.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
- Must hold excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Role
- Undertake Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACOP L8 across a mixed portfolio of sites.
- Provide clients/customers with recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measures through to quotations, and carry out works based on the risk assessments.
- Use information from sites to provide detailed reports.
- Deal with problems effectively and in a timely manner.
- Prioritise workloads and ensure work is completed within the required time scales.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with clients and customers.
