They are seeking someone with a strong track record of delivering asbestos surveying and analytical services, who is comfortable auditing and quality checking completed works. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of site staff, ensuring that deadlines are met and standards of work are maintained. Experience / Qualifications- Strong experience working within the Asbestos industry
- Will hold the BOHS P402, P403 and P404 (or RSPH equivalent) as a minimum
- Robust industry technical knowledge, including UKAS and HSG guidelines
- Comfortable leading teams of site staff
- Able to manage your own workload
- Good time‑keeping skills
- Excellent literacy, numeracy and IT skills
- Overseeing the successful completion of asbestos services within the department
- Quality checking and auditing of works and highlighting any areas for improvement
- Liaising with clients directly to discuss project scope and their requirements
- Ensuring works are completed to agreed frameworks
- Training and supporting site staff
- Producing detailed technical reports
- Attending site to monitor projects and services
- Liaising with contractors and suppliers
- Processing client works orders
- Organising workloads and allocating projects for efficiency
- Ad‑hoc asbestos management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys in addition to air testing and 4 stage clearances
